I hope everyone had a happy holiday season and wish all of you a Happy New Year.
While I have been on holiday break, I have been working behind the scenes on upgrading the archive and database part of the website so as we continue to grow. I will have the ability to archive our blog posts and articles. That will make them easier to find for current and future readers. We also have other changes which I will announce in early February.
First up, next Monday (January 19) we will be looking at the popular Yogi Berra of the New York Yankees. Anytime someone mentions Yogi Berra, yogism’s always worked their way into the conversation. “When you come to the fork on the road, take it.” Is among the most popular.
Our blog post is going to focus on other parts of his life and reputation. He was a war hero during second world war. Yogi was a highly competitive player, and we will have a few stories to back that up. We will also look at his story career and all his accomplishments.
The Hall of Fame will announce the latest class for 2026 next week and we will review those choices, giving you a detailed look of each new HOF member.
